Kavitha Cherian is a Senior Associate at Spencer Stuart where  she specializes in executive talent assessment, CEO succession, board effectiveness and creating action plans designed to accelerate professional development and maximize the long-term potential of C-suite executives. She serves clients across industries in both short and long-term succession planning contexts. Her clients include Fortune 500 companies across numerous sectors, including financial, transportation, pharmaceutical, and natural resources industries as well as venture capital and private equity investors and their portfolio companies.

Kavitha has previously held roles in banking and working as an Economist for Roubini Global Economics. She assisted Dr. Nouriel Roubini in developing the World Economic Forum’s first Financial Development Index in 2008. She also co-authored articles with him that were featured in Forbes magazine. 

Kavitha holds an MBA from The Wharton School and a Master’s degree in International Studies from The University of Pennsylvania.
