MENTORSHIP

Mentorship is at the core of the WEALF program. The success of WEALF is derived from the combination of a dedicated group of mentors established professionals volunteering their time and talent to mentor, and an engaged group of entrepreneur program participants. Together, our work is guided by this entrepreneurial spirit.

Early on we recognized money alone is not sufficient to assist women in building a successful, sustainable business. While our entrepreneurs know a great deal about their product or service, most do not have the same depth of knowledge about the business of business. WEALF provides capital with mentoring to create a supportive community in which our participants can grow and thrive.

WEALF mentors are expert businesswomen and consultants. Our mentors have learned from experience the challenges and opportunities women face in business.   Working passionately together, our mentors engage with our entrepreneurs on an individual basis, considering where they are in their development and personal situations to achieve the highest levels of professional excellence. Mentors provide guidance on issues such as branding, preparing financials, social media, e-commerce, and general business skills.

The mentors become true partners to our entrepreneurs on their journey to becoming a successful independent businesswoman, a valued member of the community, and an inspiration for other women. WEALF mentors are volunteers who give of their time, their experience, knowing that their compensation is the satisfaction of helping change lives.
